Linda do Rosário (2004) is one of the most important pieces in the series Charques. In these sculptures, architecture is associated with the body, and flesh becomes constructive material. The work was inspired in the collapse of Hotel Linda do Rosário, in downtown Rio de Janeiro, in 2002; the tiled walls of which crumbled on top a couple of guests in one of the hotel rooms.
